Crush 80 Beta Keyboard With Personalized Backplate (Design Your Unique Masterpiece)

The keyboard is okay, it sounds heavenly, looks good and is very heavy but it has a lot of minor issues.
1. The on/off switch under capslock is a terrible design, especially becase they recomend turning it off for charging.
2. Another thing is that few switches sound scratchy, as if they had sand in them. The keyboard came with 3 replacemnt switches, and 1 one them also had this issue, so you can only replace two.
3. The custom backplate - it arrived chipped in two places, but as I dont see much of it it doesn't bother me too much. What I really wish is that the manual had instructions how to replacethe custom backplate, becase theres no information that you need to disasemble the whole keyboard and it took a lot of time to figure. The manual desperately needs instructions how to put it in, as it doesnt come installed.
4. The battery discharges at a normal rate, but for some reason it charges very slowly with the provided cable.
5. The RGB is bright and nice, but the leds have a rather limited capabilities when it comes to color range.

The scrachy switches and on/off switch bother me the most I think.

Overall, I am satisfied for the 130$ I paid for it, but I don't think I would buy it for the full price, considering it has a lot of minor issues.

I was surprised at how much I liked the color- there was no choice for the personalized backplate beta but I really did end up liking the warm white quite a lot. The RGB is very bright and vibrant. The switches too surprised me. I'm more of a tactile lover, but these switches were nice and bouncy and perfectly useable. I also really like the sound profile of the board- currently running with all foams. Quite marbly, and somehow both muted and clear at the same time. The backplate came out nicely as well- i was worried how it would turn out but those worries were unfounded in the end.
It's not all good though-like others, i am experiencing a number of sleepy keys that won't activate upon first pressing- insert,delete, home, end, pgup, pgdn, even sometimes tilda and f8. I either have to press them repeatedly to start registering or hold them down for a few seconds until they register and then start behaving. updated firmware et al, but no change. This issue seems to have been long reported and it is disappointing that no solution has yet come out.

Great Keyboard! I love the ballcatch design, the solid build quality and the battery life (not running full RGB though). I appreciate a lot the fact that the logo above the arrow keys changes color when you engage the caps lock. Out of the box, the switches are pretty thocky and the keys are fine, sounds good. I changed the switches to the Kaihl Deep Sea Silent Tactile switches and a custom key set. I was too loud for my taste with the included switches.

As for the custom print, I think it's power coated or something. Durability is an unknown a week after purchase, but it holds up fine for now. But I had small chips coming off when I unboxed it. Maybe it has something to do with the fact I asked for a design with a lot of black.I had to knock a star for that, it's not perfect, but the custom plate is a pretty nice addon.

Would buy again!
