I was going to get the normal Rainy 75 Pro, but this colorway looked so good that I couldn't resist.
Ordered from Portugal, and it took about 2 weeks to arrive. Packaging was excellent and felt premium right out of the box.
I planned on swapping the switches for Keygeek Y2s since I wanted a muted thock, but the HMX Mangos sounded way better in person than I expected, a really addictive marbly thock, so I kept them stock.
The aluminum case feels really solid with a smooth finish, and there's barely any flex unless you actually press hard on it. The stabilizers are great too, as they didn't need any lubing.
The keycaps are the only thing I could maybe complain about. I really like how they look and feel, don't get me wrong, but the font thickness is slightly inconsistent between some keys, and a few have minor alignment issues. Nothing you'd notice unless you're being picky tho.
I knew about the customer support complaints going in, but when I had a few questions about the product and delivery, I got quick and friendly answers. I'd feel taken care of if something went wrong.
I've only had it for 3 days and I already love it. It's easily the best addition to my setup.
Would buy again :3
Great budget keyboard with awesome build quality, stock switches are great aswell. Upgraded with Gateron Oil King V2 and it got even better. 10/10 reccomended.
Amaze!
Arrived quicker than I expected, its everything I wanted. Lovely sound, nice and heavy, and looks amazing.
I just bought the Rainy around two months ago, and when I saw there was an orange Pro model, I immediately bought it. Most keyboard colors feel very similar to one another, but orange is something rare and unique. I also happen to own the rare Kiiboom Egypt keycap set in orange, so it became the perfect match for the build I had in mind.
I currently own several keyboards such as the ND75, Womier SK75, JRIS75, and Weikav, and honestly, the first time I tried the Rainy completely stock and unmodified, I was genuinely shocked by how good it was. The typing feel is incredibly well-balanced — not too soft, but not stiff either. The HMX Mango switches (if I’m not mistaken) sound amazing: marbly and rounded, without being overly high-pitched. That balance is actually very difficult to achieve, especially when combined with such a comfortable typing experience. It really shows how well-tuned this prebuilt keyboard is.
At first, I had plans to heavily modify this keyboard, but in the end, I only changed the keycaps because it already felt that good out of the box.
One thing I initially wished for was a rapid disassembly system, but after using it for a while, I realized it honestly doesn’t need one — at least for me — because the stock tuning is already excellent.
On the software side, I did experience a small issue when loading the JSON file, but it wasn’t a major problem since I was still able to assign my own shortcuts flawlessly.
My only real complaint is that there’s no dedicated place to store the wireless dongle. I really hope future versions include one. Also, I think the on/off switch placement could be improved by moving it to the outside of the case. Beginners may not immediately understand where it is, and it’s not the most user-friendly design choice. In my opinion, a prebuilt keyboard should be designed not only for enthusiasts, but for all users.
Lastly, this is genuinely a great keyboard. It’s perfectly tuned, very affordable, and performs extremely well even for competitive gaming. I believe the Ultra Low Latency mode (activated with Fn + H) helps a lot with responsiveness.
I highly recommend this keyboard to anyone looking for a keyboard that is fun to type on and sounds amazing straight out of the box.
