Wobkey has announced its latest custom keyboard with a compact 65% layout. The Zen65 launched on Kickstarter on June 3, offering two versions with a choice of stabilizers while taking up minimal desk space.

Despite its compact size, the Zen65 is one of the heaviest and most solid keyboards available. Factory-lubed hot-swappable switches provide a soft and gentle typing experience.

Made from high-quality materials, the Zen65 supports wired, 2.4GHz, and Bluetooth connectivity, with up to three Bluetooth hosts that can be easily switched between.

Its top case has chamfered internal edges and an internal brass weight to enhance typing feel and acoustics. Four mounting options allow users to fine-tune the typing experience.

The Zen65 uses a magnetic pogo pin connector for easy assembly and maintenance without tools. Side bezels are thin, front/back slightly thicker, with anodized chamfered edges for a premium touch.

Users can choose a PCB-mounted or plateless configuration (hot-swappable switches recommended with plate). Lite HMX Violet or Ultra Kailh BOX switches and PBT double-shot keycaps provide a premium feel.

Full compatibility with QMK and VIA software allows key remapping, macros, and system shortcuts.
