The Best Entry to Mechanical Keyboard

I purchased this keyboard (the Pro version) for my boyfriend, and he absolutely loves it! It's an all-encompassing product that's perfect for anyone starting their mechanical keyboard journey.

Pros
Fully Assembled: This keyboard comes ready to use with great-quality parts.
Solid Build: The base is solid and heavy, exuding premium quality.
Extras Included: It comes with additional foam and a keypad plate, making it customizable and easy to disassemble. The included carrying case is an excellent touch.
Amazing Switches: The switches sound incredible right out of the box, and the keycaps are more than decent for the price point.
Sleek Design: The minimalist look and subtle logo add to its appeal.
LED Lighting: The RGB lighting is vibrant, and it enhances the overall aesthetic.

Cons
Height: The keyboard is quite high, like a little higher than most.
LED Customization: While you can program the LEDs to white, it’s not straightforward, and the result isn’t a pure white.
Power Button Placement: The power button is located under the caps key, requiring you to remove the keycap to access it. A built-in keycap removal solution would be a great improvement.
Switch Compatibility: While most switches fit perfectly, I encountered difficulty installing TTC Frozen Silents. The issue seemed to stem from the foam and flex in the keyboard. I had to separate the key plate from the foam to install those switches.
Connectivity Experience: Switching between wired and Bluetooth modes, and between Windows and Mac, isn’t as seamless as I’d hoped. It works, but the process could be more user-friendly.
Final Thoughts
For the price point, this keyboard is unbeatable. I’ve used more expensive options that don’t come close to what this offers. The overall quality, features, and thoughtful design make it an incredible choice for anyone. At this price, its crazy.

10/10 would recommend.

Sounds great

The shipping was really fast. I received the keyboard within a few days. I'm honestly surprised at how fast the process was and in addition, I received shipping notifications along the way too.

The unboxing experience was really sweet too. I liked the case and the extra switches and key pullers, and plate, etc.

The keyboard looks amazing. The RBG lighting is really strong and I like that it's also on the sides too. It works right out of the box. The typing experience was really good and smooth too.

I have the Rainy 75 and they do sound a little bit different. The Rainy 75 is louder and sounds more poppy - it has a pop sound when it bottoms out. Whereas the Crush 80 is bit more dampened, but it doesn't take away from the experience. Also, the crush 80 was a lot heavier than the Rainy 75. I like that the USB dongle is in the back, securely located. I haven't had a chance to try that out just yet. In addition to the thoughtful design for the wireless dongle, they have made improvements to the spacebar as well. It sounds very solid and stable. Overall, I think the Crush 80 is a really solid keyboard that looks great and is very easy to use - I would say it's frankly the best keyboard I have tried. I also like their honest marketing of maybe the best aluminum keyboard!

The only other thing is that I don't know how to pop off the metal top part yet. It looked easy but it's not really coming off for me.

Successfully competes with mid-high end products at a budget price

Going from a Razer keyboard to this at a cheaper price is an incredible jump in quality. The quality of the case is and internal components is astounding. The sound of the keyboard is on a different level entirely because of the composition of internal foam and design. The switches are very nice but maybe a tad inconsistent, around 95% of them are good so the extra 3 spare switches helped with being able to swap them out. I was able take apart the entire keyboard in seconds which is incredibly convenient thanks to the magnetic case top. The keycaps look very pretty however are slightly inconsistent across each key in terms of shape, but hardly noticeable. All the legends are good except the f4 which is a bit thin in comparison. One mild annoyance is that the foam underneath the rgb icon pushes the case top up a bit which makes the right most keys look slightly sunk in comparison. The rgb options are a very nice addition thought it is preferable on a static color rather than slow changing since the colors do not fade very well. South facing leds is a big plus. Personally I love the TKL profile as it allows me to code and write very efficiently with the home, end and delete keys. The extra f13 key is very nice for a macro, but a knob may have also been very useful to some.

Overall an amazing product, very easy to mod and customise, with very few caveats. No other keyboard for the price is worth considering.
